About the role:
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced vehicle engineer to join our team at our Crawley depot, leading a team of MOT engineers and overseeing all workshop activities while maintaining a fleet of public service vehicles to DVSA standards.
Shift pattern: Monday–Friday, 6am–2:30pm
Key duties:
- Lead and motivate a team of MOT engineers
- Carry out MOT inspections, repairs and final checks before presenting vehicles for test
- Complete all workshop paperwork including work orders and maintenance documents
- Adhere to company policies and maintain full awareness of Health & Safety regulations
You will need:
- Full UK manual driving licence
- PCV licence desirable or willingness to work towards one
- Recognised engineering qualification — IRTEC accreditation preferred
- Experience with large passenger or commercial vehicles
- Flexible approach to working hours and tasks
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Able to work independently and take ownership of your work
Pay: £29.71 per hour
