As we continue to grow, we’re looking for skilled professional painters and decorators to join our team for both daywork and pricework on an ongoing basis.
Role Overview
We are seeking experienced Painters & Decorators who are looking to become long-term members of our team. This role involves a mixture of daywork and pricework on a variety of commercial sites. Successful candidates will be expected to complete tasks to a high standard within set timescales, while ensuring a high level of professionalism and quality at all times.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out all aspects of painting and decorating, including preparation, undercoating, glossing, emulsion work, and wallpapering (where required).
- Work efficiently to tight deadlines without compromising on quality.
- Ensure work is completed within agreed prices and timescales.
- Interpret and follow drawings, specifications, and site instructions.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment on all sites.
- Communicate effectively with site supervisors and contract managers.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience in commercial painting and decorating.
- Own tools and transport.
- CSCS card (essential).
- UTR number and legal right to work in the UK.
- A reliable, punctual, and hardworking individual who can thrive in a price-based environment.
- A strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
- Looking for long-term, ongoing work, rather than short-term contracts.
