Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and skilled CPCS 360 Driver to join our dynamic team on a full-time basis. As a CPCS 360 Driver, you will be responsible for operating heavy machinery, specifically the 360-degree excavator, to support construction and excavation projects. Your expertise in commercial driving combined with mechanical knowledge will ensure safe, efficient, and precise handling of equipment on-site. Duties
- Operate the CPCS-certified 360-degree excavator safely and efficiently across various construction sites
- Conduct routine inspections and basic maintenance of machinery to ensure optimal performance
- Assist with site preparation, material handling, and excavation tasks as directed by project supervisors
- Follow all safety protocols and maintain compliance with health and safety regulations at all times
- Coordinate with team members to execute project plans smoothly and meet deadlines
- Maintain accurate logs of machine usage, inspections, and any incidents or issues encountered during operation
- Support other site activities requiring mechanical knowledge or heavy equipment operation as needed
Experience
- Proven experience operating a CPCS 360 excavator in a construction or industrial setting
- Strong mechanical knowledge related to heavy machinery maintenance and troubleshooting
- Valid CPCS certification for 360 excavator operation is required
- Demonstrated experience in commercial driving with a clean driving record
- Ability to interpret site plans and technical instructions effectively
- Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
