About the role:
We are looking for a reliable and detail-orientated Hygiene Operative to join our team within a fast-paced food manufacturing environment. The role involves ensuring all production areas, equipment, and facilities are cleaned and maintained to the highest hygiene and food safety standards. In addition, training will be provided across key areas of manufacturing, with a vision to build a multi-skilled team.
Key responsibilities:
· Support production teams by ensuring equipment is available and ready for use at the start of production.
· Ensure all cleaning chemicals are used, stored, and labelled correctly in accordance with COSHH requirements.
· Ensure all cleaned items meet company hygiene standards before being returned to production.
· Maintain segregation of clean and dirty equipment to prevent cross-contamination.
· Keep the pot wash area clean, tidy, and organised.
· Work closely with production teams to support operational requirements.
· Complete cleaning records and documentation accurately where applicable.
· Dispose of waste safely and ensure waste areas remain clean and organised.
· Identify and report equipment faults, hygiene issues, or maintenance concerns.
Essential

Desirable

- Understanding of GMP, HACCP, and COSHH requirements.
- Food Safety or Hygiene qualification.
Shift- 06:00- 14:30 (Flexibility required). MONDAY- FRIDAY (Weekends off and bank holidays off)
