Job Description
We are a busy community pharmacy seeking a reliable and efficient Delivery Driver to join our team urgently. In this role, you will be the vital link between our pharmacy and our patients, ensuring they receive their medications safely, securely, and right on time.
This is a Monday to Friday position, offering consistent weekday hours with your weekends left completely free.
Key Responsibilities
- Securely load, transport, and deliver prescriptions to patients' homes or care facilities.
- Provide excellent, empathetic customer service at the doorstep, handling sensitive deliveries with care and confidentiality.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and obtain necessary signatures.
- Multi-Site Flexibility: While you will have a primary base, you will occasionally be required to travel to and support our other local pharmacy sites.
- Requirements
- Own Reliable Vehicle & Valid Driver’s License: Must be willing to use your own vehicle for deliveries (mileage and fuel expenses are covered within the hourly rate).
- Reliability: Punctual, organized, and able to manage your time effectively.
- Great Communication: A friendly and helpful demeanor, as you will often be interacting with elderly or vulnerable patients.
- Right to Work: Must have the legal right to work in the UK.
