Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Cleaner to join our team, responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across various commercial premises. This job role requires 6am starts, to ensure the pub is open for 9am. The ideal candidate will be organised, reliable, and committed to creating a safe and welcoming environment. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a keen eye for detail and previous janitorial experience to contribute to a professional setting.
Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of designated areas, including offices, washrooms, kitchens, and communal spaces.
- Use appropriate cleaning equipment and products to ensure surfaces are hygienic and presentable.
- Empty bins, replenish supplies such as soap and paper towels, and maintain stock levels where necessary.
- Follow health and safety procedures diligently to prevent accidents and ensure compliance with regulations.
- Report any maintenance issues or hazards to management promptly.
- Maintain a high standard of organisation within storage areas and cleaning equipment.
- Ensure all cleaning tasks are completed efficiently within scheduled timeframes.
Experience
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial work is preferred but not essential; training will be provided.
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and equipment is advantageous.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining attention to detail.
- Good organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
- Reliable with a strong work ethic and a commitment to maintaining cleanliness standards in a professional environment.
Pay: £14.00-£14.50 per hour
