Job Summary
We are seeking enthusiastic and reliable casual Team Members to join our dynamic team. This role offers flexible hours and is ideal for individuals looking to gain experience in a supportive environment. The successful candidate will play a vital part in ensuring smooth operations and delivering excellent service. Prior experience is not essential, as training will be provided, but a positive attitude and willingness to learn are essential qualities.
Duties
- Provide friendly, attentive, and efficient service to all customers
- Take and serve food and drink orders accurately and promptly
- Prepare and serve beverages in line with company standards
- Ensure customers are well looked after throughout their visit
- Check in hotel guests, ensuring a smooth and professional arrival experience
- Provide guests with relevant information about their stay, facilities, and local area
- Handle guest queries, requests, and complaints effectively
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and presentation across all front-of-house areas
- Clear and reset tables efficiently
- Ensure bar and service areas are clean, stocked, and organised at all times
- Manage stock levels, including restocking fridges and bar supplies
- Monitor inventory and report low stock to management
- Assist with stock rotation and minimise wastage
- Comply with all licensing laws, including Challenge 25 and responsible alcohol service
- Follow all health & safety and food hygiene regulations
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, including kitchen staff, to ensure smooth service
- Support team members during busy periods and contribute to a positive working environment
Qualifications
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanour
- Ability to work flexibly on casual basis, including peak times or special events
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team
- Basic organisational skills and attention to detail
- Previous experience in similar roles is advantageous but not mandatory
- Willingness to undertake training and develop new skills
