The Role
Pilkington UK Limited, part of the NSG Group, are looking for a Warehouse Operator to undertake the full range of activities required in our Warehouse area including operation of glass moving equipment.
Reporting directly to the Branch Manager, you’ll be fully trained in loading and unloading our vehicles in order to meet customer requirements. You will also participate in stock control activities and will be fully trained in operating our equipment, machinery and computer systems. You will work 39 hours a week, on a 2 set shift pattern (6am-2.30pm and 11am-7.30pm, Monday to Friday).

Work co-operatively as part of a team and be prepared to work flexibly in order to respond to changing demands.

Previous experience of working in a glass handling environment would be an advantage but is not essential as full training will be provided

Working safely is our top priority and all applicants must be prepared to learn and consistently adhere to the Safe Operating Procedures defined for their work areas, and to report hazards and incidents in a timely manner.
