We area construction company seeking an organised and efficient Office Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess administrative skills, computer literacy, and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively. This role offers an opportunity to contribute to the smooth operation of our office environment while developing valuable professional experience. The successful applicant will be responsible for supporting daily administrative functions, ensuring seamless communication, and maintaining accurate records. This is role that will build overtime and includes liasing heavily with building control.
Duties
- Manage incoming calls with professional phone etiquette and direct enquiries appropriately
- Organise and maintain filing systems, both electronic and paper-based
- Assist with scheduling appointments, meetings, and events
- Prepare correspondence, reports, and other documents as required
- Support team members with administrative tasks to ensure operational efficiency
Qualifications
- Proven office experience with a strong understanding of administrative procedures
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
- Strong typing skills and attention to detail for accurate data entry
- Good communication skills with professional phone etiquette
- Previous clerical experience is required; training will be provided if needed
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
