Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate person to join our team for holiday care this summer. The individual does not have to be level 3 qualified due to the highly qualified team they will be working within. We want someone enthusiastic willing to get involved, can use initiative and work will within a team dynamic. The days are busy and full on and lots of fun so we need someone with the personality and mindset to match. Summer holidays are all about fun.
Duties
- Manage the daily activities of children in the nursery, ensuring a safe and stimulating environment.
- Provide high-quality childcare, attending to the physical and emotional needs of each child.
- Observe and assess children's progress, documenting their achievements and areas for improvement.
- Drive initiatives that support children's social, emotional, and cognitive development.
- Collaborate with other staff members to maintain a clean, organised, and welcoming nursery space.
- Uphold health and safety standards in accordance with regulatory requirements.
Skills
- Experience working with children
- Strong understanding of early childhood education principles and practices.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively while maintaining attention to detail.
- A genuine passion for nurturing children's growth and development through play-based learning.
- A valid driving licence is preferred but not mandatory.
