The Role
We are looking for reliable, friendly self-employed individuals to provide general household support to clients in their local area.
This is a flexible opportunity where you choose your own hours, services, and workload.
What You’ll Do
Tasks may include:
- Domestic cleaning
- Shopping and errands
- Companionship and conversation
- Preparing simple meals
- Assisting with appointments
- General household support
How It Works
- We match you with suitable clients
- You agree services, rates, and schedule directly
- You invoice clients yourself
- You are free to accept or decline any work
Helpful HomeSupport charges clients a small introduction fee.
Requirements
- Registered as self-employed in the UK (HMRC)
- Public Liability Insurance
- Enhanced DBS check (or willing to obtain one)
- Own cleaning equipment (where applicable)
- Responsible for your own tax and National Insurance
Important Information
- This is not an employed position
- No guaranteed hours or income
- No holiday or sick pay
