EduLink is working closely with a Secondary School in Buckinghamshire you require a Geography Teacher for an immediate start in September 2026. The ideal Teacher will have extensive background knowledge on the GCSE Geography Curriculum & will be confident to deliver this to KS3 & KS4.
Duties
- Plan and deliver comprehensive GCSE Geography lessons aligned with curriculum standards, incorporating creative writing and journalism techniques to enhance student engagement.
- Develop innovative teaching materials that cater to various learning styles, including special education needs, to ensure all students can access the curriculum effectively.
- Mentor students through personalised tutoring sessions, supporting their academic growth in Geography and related subjects such as Maths.
- Manage classroom behavior proactively by implementing effective behaviour management strategies.
- Assess student progress regularly through assignments & Mock Exams.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in teaching Geography at Secondary Level with a strong understanding of curriculum requirements.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate and inspire students of diverse backgrounds.
- Demonstrated mentoring skills with a focus on supporting student academic and personal growth.
- Knowledge of behaviour management techniques to maintain an orderly and productive classroom environment.
