Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate Part Time Early Years Educator to join our vibrant team term time only. In this role, you will support the delivery of high-quality early childhood education and care, fostering a positive learning atmosphere for young children. Your enthusiasm and dedication will help shape their early experiences and promote their overall development.
Responsibilities
- Assist in planning and implementing engaging activities that support children's learning and development
- Supervise children during playtime, meals, nap times, and outdoor activities to ensure their safety and well-being
- Support the delivery of a nurturing environment that encourages curiosity, independence, and social skills
- Communicate effectively with children, colleagues, and parents to promote a collaborative approach to childcare
- Maintain accurate records of children's progress and daily routines in accordance with regulatory standards
- Follow health and safety procedures diligently to ensure a secure environment for all children
- Contribute to team meetings and ongoing training sessions to enhance your skills and knowledge
Skills
- Experience working with children in early childhood settings or nursery environments
- Strong understanding of childcare principles and early childhood education practices
- Excellent communication skills in English, with the ability to connect effectively with children, parents, and team members
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team while demonstrating initiative
- Valid childcare or nursery experience is highly desirable
