Underhill Residential Home are looking for an experienced Senior Care Assistant to join our Team. They must be ready to get stuck in and lead a team.
Your day to day duties will include:
- Supervise a team of Care Assistants
- Monitor Residents' vital signs, like blood pressure and heart rate
- Complete Residents' medication records
- Develop and lead activities for Residents
- Keep families up to date about their Relative's progress
- Train and mentor new staff
- Attend Team Meetings with Managers
- Provide emergency cover and on call duties
- Attend any relevant courses etc
The right person should have some, if not all of the following:
- To be thorough and pay attention to detail
- Sensitivity and understanding
- Patience and the ability to remain calm in stressful situations
- The ability to work well with others
- The ability to work on your own
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Business Management skills
- To be able to carry out basic tasks on a computer
The shift patterns will run over 7 days in a variety of shift patterns.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £14.00 per hour
