Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Multi Trade Tradesman to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in carpentry, plumbing, decoration - with a skill set of using various techniques and tools. This role involves working away on a combination of day, evening and night shifts, completing various refurbishment works.
ASX Group Ltd provides accommodation and provides food allowance at £25 per stay away.
We have an IMMEDIATE start for the right person.
Duties
- Perform carpentry and joinery work including door and frame fitting, stud walls, cabinetry and worktops, and whiterock installations.
- Undertake decoration works including preperation to walls, ceilings and timber
- Undertake basic plumbing works, including disconnection and re-connection of sinks and taps.
- Use hand tools and power tools effectively to complete tasks efficiently.
- Lift heavy materials and equipment safely while adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople on-site, including electricians for electrical installations.
- Maintain a clean and organised work environment, ensuring tools are stored correctly after use.
Skills
- Proficient in the use of hand tools.
- Experienced with power tools.
- Strong understanding of joinery techniques and carpentry principles.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and effectively.
- Knowledge of roofing methods and materials is advantageous.
- Basic electrical skills would be beneficial but not essential.
- Excellent attention to detail with a focus on quality workmanship.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
