We are seeking an enthusiastic and industry-experienced Casual Catering and Hospitality Teacher to join our Catering, Hospitality and Professional Cookery team.
You will deliver high-quality teaching, learning and assessment across Catering and Hospitality programmes from Level 1 to Level 3, developing learners' practical skills, theoretical knowledge and employability behaviours. You will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons that inspire learners to achieve their full potential and progress into employment or further study.
The successful candidate will support learners in developing a broad range of hospitality and customer service skills through both classroom-based theory and practical training sessions. A key aspect of the role will involve contributing to the operation of our commercial training restaurant, Enfields, where learners gain valuable experience within a real working environment. This includes supporting restaurant service, mentoring learners during live service sessions and helping to maintain professional industry standards.
You will work collaboratively with colleagues to create an outstanding learning experience, monitor learner progress, provide pastoral and academic support, and promote positive behaviours that prepare learners for successful careers within the hospitality industry.

Experience in restaurant operations, front-of-house services, customer care and hospitality management would be particularly beneficial.
Key responsibilities include:

Delivering Catering and Hospitality programmes from Level 1 to Level 3.
- Planning and delivering engaging theory and practical lessons.
- Developing learners' vocational, technical and employability skills.
- Supporting learner achievement, retention and progression.
- Contributing to the successful operation of Enfields training restaurant.
- Supervising and coaching learners during live restaurant and hospitality service.
- Assessing learner work and providing constructive feedback.
- Maintaining high standards of health and safety, food safety and customer service.
- Working with employers and industry partners to enhance learner experiences and opportunities.
