Job Overview
We are looking for CSCS Labourer with a valid dumper ticket, you must hold a valid CSCS card. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in various construction projects, ensuring that groundwork is completed efficiently and to the highest standards. This position requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety.
This will be on a trial basis, if showing that you work well then will lead to permanent full time work.
Duties
- Carry out excavation and earthmoving tasks as directed by site supervisors.
- Prepare sites for construction by clearing debris and levelling ground.
- Assist in the installation of drainage systems, foundations, and other groundwork elements.
- Operate machinery such as dumpers safely and effectively.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following health and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure project deadlines are met.
- Report any issues or concerns to the site supervisor promptly.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in groundwork or construction is preferred but not essential.
- Ability to operate basic construction machinery is advantageous.
- Strong physical fitness and stamina for manual labour tasks.
- Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards collaboration.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations within the construction industry is beneficial.
- A valid driving licence.
- A valid dumper ticket.
- A valid CSCS card.
£140 - £160 per day depending on experience.
