PURPOSE
Mobile plant operators are directly responsible for the safe and proper operation and basic maintenance of any site machine in their control. To aid with the safe operation and delivery of all sectors within the Brice Aggregates group of businesses.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
· Daily inspection of static plant, in accordance with Checkproof
· Reporting of any defects
· Clearing of spilt material and debris
· Ensuring all site equipment is greased
· Assist with maintenance duties as required
· Assembling and dismantling equipment
· Use mini digger and telehandler once fully trained
· Routine washing out of weighbridges
· Tracking of plant conveyor belts
QUALIFICATIONS
· Full Driving Licence.
SKILLS
· Fast learner
· Strong communication skills and willingness to take and follow precise instructions
· Enjoy practical and manual activities.
· The ability to understand, follow and apply policies, practices and operating procedures.
EXPERIENCE
· Experience of working in a Quarry environment.

PAY
£11-13 per hour depending on experience
HOURS
Your normal hours of work are Monday to Friday between 07:00 and 17:00 with 60 minutes unpaid for lunch, and when overtime is required, Saturdays between 07:00 and 12:00.
