Job Overview
We are seeking an energetic and dynamic General Manager to lead our team on a temporary basis during maternity leave - 1 year term contract with possibility to change to another role after.

Responsibilities
- Lead and motivate the team to deliver outstanding guest services, fostering a welcoming and positive atmosphere.
- Oversee daily operational activities, including front-of-house management, reservations, and service quality assurance.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards across all areas of the venue.
- Manage staff scheduling, training, and development to maintain a high-performing team.
- Handle guest inquiries, feedback, and complaints promptly and professionally to ensure satisfaction.
- Collaborate with department heads to implement policies that enhance operational efficiency and guest experience.
- Maintain accurate records of daily operations, financial transactions, and staff performance.
Experience
- Proven management experience within the hospitality - high end restaurants , minimum 2 year experience
- Strong understanding of guest services principles and the ability to create memorable experiences for diverse clientele.
- Demonstrated ability to manage teams effectively, motivate staff, and foster a collaborative work environment.
- Excellent communication skills with the capacity to handle challenging situations with professionalism.
- Experience in managing operations during busy periods with an emphasis on quality control and attention to detail.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations relevant to hospitality settings.
Pay: £48,000.00-£53,000.00 per year
