Au Dental are on the hunt for a creative videographer & Content Creator intern to join our team 3 days per week:
We’re looking for someone with more than technical ability. You’ll bring creative spark, determination and a genuine desire to produce brilliant work.
You’ll typically spend at least two days every other week filming at our dental practices in Manchester and one day editing/planning in our Market Harborough office. You’ll work closely with our Marketing Manager to develop ideas, review edits and continually improve the quality and impact of our content.

What you’ll create
- Authentic patient testimonials and treatment stories
- Dentist and team interviews
- Before-and-after transformations
- Short-form content for Instagram Reels, TikTok and YouTube Shorts
- Photography and video for campaigns, websites and other marketing activity
- Creative concepts that bring our practices, people and patient experiences to life
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Planning shoots and contributing original content ideas
- Travelling to at least one dental practice each week
- Setting up and capturing high-quality video, audio and photography
- Helping patients and team members feel relaxed and confident on camera
- Editing footage into polished, engaging, creative and on-brand content
- Adding captions, music, graphics and other finishing touches
- Working alongside the Marketing Manager during office-based editing and review sessions
- Responding positively to feedback and refining edits promptly
- Keeping up with social media trends and identifying creative opportunities
- Organising and maintaining footage, equipment and project files
What We’re Looking For:
- Some practical filming and editing experience gained through education, freelance work, employment or personal projects
- A portfolio or showreel that demonstrates your creative potential
- Confidence using Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve or similar editing software
- A good eye for composition, lighting, sound and storytelling
- An understanding of engaging, social-first video
- A friendly and professional manner, particularly when working with patients
- Initiative, curiosity and the confidence to bring new ideas to the team
- Strong organisation and the ability to meet agreed deadlines
- A full UK driving licence and access to your own car
- Willingness to travel regularly to our practices
- Travel and hotel costs covered for business travel
Access to your own filming equipment would be a bonus, but it isn’t essential. We’re happy to invest in the right equipment, software and training to support the successful candidate’s development.
Dental experience is not required. We’re more interested in your attitude, ideas, creative instincts and desire to grow.
Working pattern
This is a three-day-per-week position. A typical week will include:
- One day filming at a dental practice, with additional travel when required
- One office-based editing day in Market Harborough
- One day for editing, revisions, content planning and other creative work
The exact schedule may vary according to shoot requirements. Business travel expenses will be covered.
