About the Role
We are looking for an experienced and motivated Installation Manager to join our growing double glazing business. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with extensive industry knowledge who can take ownership of our installation department, ensuring projects are delivered to the highest standard from survey through to completion.
You will play a key role in maintaining our excellent reputation for quality and customer service. The position is supported by a dedicated Installation Coordinator, who manages customer communications, schedules installations, and handles day-to-day administration, allowing you to focus on the technical and operational aspects of the role.
Key Responsibilities
● Carry out accurate pre-installation surveys for windows, doors, conservatories and roofline products.
● Manage installation projects from survey through to completion.
● Provide technical support and guidance to installation teams.
● Conduct site visits to monitor workmanship and ensure installations meet company standards.
● Resolve any installation issues quickly and professionally.
● Liaise with customers where required to ensure a smooth installation experience.
● Order and check materials where necessary.
● Ensure all work complies with current Building Regulations and industry standards.
● Maintain high standards of health and safety across all sites.
About You
The ideal candidate will have:
● Significant experience within the double glazing industry.
● Previous experience in an Installation Manager, Surveyor or Senior Fitter role.
● Excellent surveying and measuring skills.
● Strong technical knowledge of uPVC, aluminium and glazing systems.
● The ability to identify and resolve technical issues confidently.
● Excellent organisational and communication skills.
● A proactive, solutions-focused approach.
● A full UK driving licence.
● Their own reliable vehicle for travelling between sites.
