About the Role
As a Care Assistant, you will provide high-quality, person-centred care and support to residents, helping them maintain their independence, dignity, and wellbeing.
You will work as part of a supportive care team, assisting residents with their daily routines while creating a safe, comfortable, and positive environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Providing personal care and support with daily living activities
- Assisting residents with washing, dressing, grooming, and mobility
- Supporting residents with meal times and hydration
- Building positive and trusting relationships with residents and their families
- Monitoring residents' wellbeing and reporting any concerns
- Encouraging independence, choice, dignity, and respect
- Supporting social activities and engagement within the home
- Maintaining accurate care records and documentation
- Working collaboratively with colleagues to deliver outstanding care
What We're Looking For.
Desirable:
- Previous experience working in a care home, residential care, nursing home, supported living, or healthcare setting
- A caring, compassionate, and professional approach
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Reliable, flexible, and committed to delivering excellent care
- Level 2 Health & Social Care qualification
- Experience as a Care Assistant, Support Worker, Healthcare Assistant (HCA), Senior Care Assistant, or Residential Care Worker
- Medication administration experience
- Level 3 Health & Social Care qualification
