We're looking to add an Electrical Improver, or a Team Mate with some site experience, to our growing team based in Lincolnshire. Purpose of the role
To support the Team Leader in delivering CEMA's installs to standard — taking on the assistant-level electrical work that does not require full qualification, plus the practical site work that keeps a job moving — while developing the technical skills and trade discipline to progress.
Core responsibilities
- Assist the Team Leader on site — first fix, second fix, containment, cable pulling, fitting installations, basic terminations as competence allows.
- Carry out the practical site work that supports the install: setting up, materials handling, ladder and access work, site tidying, end-of-day clear-down.
- Learn actively — ask questions, take notes, understand why things are done the way they are, not just how.
- Maintain personal tools and PPE — clean, complete, in working order.
- Maintain a professional appearance and conduct on site.
- Apply RAMS, follow site health & safety without prompting, and flag concerns.
- Complete training, qualifications and assessments agreed with the Operations Manager.
- Be reliable.
Essential
- Full, valid UK driving licence — this role involves national travel
- Right to work in the UK
Desirable
- Working towards NVQ Level 2/3 in Electrical Installation (or equivalent)
- Basic First Aid
- IPAF and PASMA qualifications
