Martin Williams (Hull) Ltd is looking for a hardworking and reliable Yard Operative to join our team.
This is a hands-on role responsible for ensuring our premises and vehicles are maintained to a high standard. We are seeking someone who takes pride in their work, has a good eye for detail, and is happy working both indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions.
Key Duties
- Maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of the yard and site.
- Emptying bins and ensuring waste is disposed of correctly.
- Sweeping, tidying, and keeping all yard areas presentable.
- Washing, cleaning, and valeting vehicles to a high standard when required for cover.
- Cleaning workshops and forecourt areas as required.
- Carrying out general housekeeping and maintenance duties.
- Assisting other departments with day-to-day operational tasks when required.
The Ideal Candidate
- Reliable, punctual, and hardworking.
- Takes pride in maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
- Has a positive attitude and is willing to help where needed.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Full UK driving licence preferred.
Previous valeting or yard experience would be an advantage but is not essential
Pay: £27,000.00-£28,000.00 per year
