The Coach At Edenfield is currently recruiting for an experienced Pub Supervisor.
Located in the Rossendale Valley, The Coach At Edenfield is a favourite amongst the locals in the area and is gaining a fantastic following from further afield. With an emphasis on locally sourced, freshly prepared produce, the kitchen team strive to deliver an amazing dining experience for all our guests.
We are looking for an experienced Pub Supervisor to join and help lead our small yet dedicated team, someone who has ideally had 2-3 years’ experience in a similar position.
You will be the face of the business therefore the right candidate will need to be friendly, approachable and an all round team player. We greet all our guests with a warm welcome and leave them with a lasting memory and a reason to return! You will have had experience managing and leading a small team, taking the initiative to think on your feet, liaising between the bar, the kitchen and all our guests and reporting to the directors on a regular basis.
You will be responsible for the efficient running of the pub along side the senior management, dealing with staffing issues and meeting and greeting guests. You will need to have a bubbly personality, be well presented, approachable and a team player with buckets of common sense.
The following experience is imperative:
Running busy shifts
Cash handling and cashing up at the end of service.
Dealing with disgruntled / intoxicated guests.
Maintaining the high GP margin that we operate on.
Liaising between the head chef and front of house team members.
Sending end of shift reports to superiors.
Fire and Health & safety knowledge
Managing labour budgets
