About the Role:
We’re looking for a dedicated, detail-oriented Laundry Operative to join our Lyme Bay team. You’ll be key to keeping our managed services departments running like clockwork, making sure every property is guest-ready. You’ll work closely with the team and our suppliers, resolving laundry and housekeeping issues over the phone and face-to-face.
You’ll need to multitask, stay organised, and collaborate effectively to help maintain our high standards. This is a flexible role suitable for full-time applicants.
What You’ll Do:
- Manage day-to-day laundry operations and liaise with suppliers
- Deliver clean linen using fleet vehicles when required
- Conduct property inspections, corrective cleaning, and basic maintenance
- Prepare linen for weekly departures and maintain stock levels
- Provide practical feedback to support departmental performance
- Promote excellent customer service to guests and owners
- Undertake any additional duties within the scope of the role as requested

Bonus points if you have excellent written and verbal communication skills, a willingness to learn new skills in a fast-paced environment, previous experience as a Laundry Assistant, and are IT literate with the ability to update stock controls.
