Fabricator Welder
Location: Taunton, Somerset
Salary: £31,000 – £38,000 per annum (DOE) + Regular Overtime Available
Job Type: Full Time | Permanent Monday - Friday
Recruitment Unlimited are recruiting on behalf of a well-established engineering and fabrication business in Taunton for an experienced Fabricator Welder. You will be working on various projects including feature staircases, balustrades and handrails, structural steelwork, walkways and access platforms.
Main Responsibilities
- Fabricating and welding bespoke steelwork from technical drawings
- Producing high-quality architectural and structural fabrications
- Working on a wide range of interesting, one-off and small batch projects
- Using modern workshop equipment and fabrication techniques
- Working closely with an experienced and supportive fabrication team
Key Requirements
- At least 5 years' fabrication and welding experience
- The ability to read and interpret fabrication drawings
- MIG welding experience (TIG experience would also be advantageous)
- A strong eye for detail and high-quality workmanship
- A positive attitude and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Experience using tube bending equipment or robotic welding systems would be an advantage, although full training can be provided.
