We are seeking a Health & Safety Advisor to join our Tiverton site and perform a key role in continuing to drive a positive safety culture and ensuring compliance across the business.
This is a hands-on, varied role within the Site Management Team, requiring strong organisation, adaptability, and a proactive, “can-do” approach.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead accident, incident, and near-miss investigations, identifying trends and driving improvements
- Conduct site audits, inspections, and compliance checks (e.g. fire safety, PPE, drills)
- Support teams with risk assessments and safe systems of work
- Review contractor safety documentation and ensure on-site compliance
- Maintain the H&S training matrix and deliver H&S inductions
- Coordinate H&S meetings and ensure actions are completed
- Manage COSHH requirements and produce monthly H&S reports

Experience & Qualifications
- Experience in a H&S or compliance role
- Background in food manufacturing or other manufacturing environment
- NEBOSH General Certificate (or equivalent, NVQ Level 3+)
- SAP knowledge (desirable)

Pay: £39,000.00-£43,200.00 per year
