HCA Healthcare UK Primary Care Division owns and operates a large network of private GP practices and health centres. We are actively recruiting for three newly created positions to help our practices thrive while putting the patient experience first.
We have three exciting opportunities for professional and enthusiastic GP Patient Coordinators to provide administrative support to our clinical teams, ensuring patients are kept informed about their appointments, billing, referrals, diagnostics, and ongoing care plans.
These newly created roles are varied and people-focused. You will work as part of a friendly, collaborative team, supporting both patients and clinicians to deliver exceptional care across up to three different sites, as required.
The role combines front-of-house reception, clinical coordination, medical secretarial support, and administrative excellence to ensure every patient receives a seamless, five-star experience and exceptional service.

Welcome patients and provide front-of-house reception services, ensuring a smooth and professional experience throughout their visit.

Manage patient enquiries via telephone, email, and in person with efficiency, professionalism, and empathy.

Maintain patient records and databases accurately and confidentially.

Support GPs with clinical notes, referrals, and correspondence.

Process invoices and patient billing accurately.

Assist in preparing and delivering health screening reports.

Liaise with consultants, hospitals, and insurers to coordinate patient care.

Uphold the highest standards of professionalism, confidentiality, and customer service.

Previous receptionist or front-of-house experience in a corporate or healthcare environment; private patient experience is highly desirable.

Excellent customer service and communication skills, both in person and via telephone and email.

Strong administrative, medical secretarial, and organisational skills with exceptional attention to detail.

Confidence working independently in a fast-paced, professional environment.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general IT systems (full training will be provided on our internal systems).

Ability to multitask, prioritise effectively, and remain calm under pressure.
