The Strand is a craft beer pub located on Cheltenham High Street, and we’re looking for supervisors to join our team. Since opening over 10 years ago, our pubs have become some of the biggest independent craft beer sellers in the South West, and we’re continuing to grow.
We’re looking for candidates with previous experience in a similar supervisory or senior bar role, who have a genuine passion for craft beer and great food. You should feel confident working in a busy, multi‑faceted venue and be able to deliver excellent customer service while leading by example. Reliability, a positive attitude, punctuality, good presentation, and professionalism are essential. Bartending experience is required, and cellar training is a bonus, though we’re happy to train the right person.
The role includes opening and closing the pub, cashing up and completing end‑of‑day procedures, bartending, maintaining high service standards, managing the cellar, and supporting the management team with day‑to‑day operations.
