Base salary: £41,092 pa to c.£48,344 pa depending on skills and experience. In addition, we offer flexible benefits fund of 15% which is paid on top base salary and is fully pensionable, as well as a range of competitive benefits - check them out in the Benefits section on our website.

As a Stakeholder Manager at HS2 you will will be responsible for delivering stakeholder engagement activity and managing key stakeholder relationships across Land and Property, working with internal teams across HS2 as well as with external organisations including DfT, Land and Property’s Supply Chain and community stakeholders.
About the role:

Deliver stakeholder engagement activity, including maintaining effective relationships with internal teams, external stakeholders and partners.
Deliver stakeholder engagement activity in line with agreed ways of working and approaches, working with relevant teams to address stakeholder issues and concerns.
Manage responses to stakeholder enquiries and complaints, ensuring timely, accurate and consistent handling in line with agreed approaches.
Deliver stakeholder engagement and management plans, ensuring activity is carried out in line with agreed priorities and approaches.
Monitor and analyse stakeholder engagement activity, identifying trends, risks and issues to inform responses and planning.
Produce stakeholder materials, including briefings, information packs and supporting content, to enable effective engagement.
Ensure all stakeholder engagement activity and outputs are delivered in line with agreed standards, approaches and stakeholder positioning.

Skills:
Influencing and listening skills, with the ability to engage effectively with a range of stakeholders
Written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate complex information clearly to different audiences
Ability to develop relationships and build trust amongst stakeholders and communities, exercising diplomacy and sound judgement
Ability to manage competing stakeholder priorities and deliver outputs to agreed deadlines
Analytical skills, with the ability to interpret and analyse stakeholder data, identify trends and emerging issues, and use insight to inform responses and engagement activity
Ability to support delivery of a high-quality ‘Claimant experience’ through effective stakeholder engagement
Ability to manage agreed deadlines in a dynamic, fast-moving environment and operate within established processes and ways of working
Knowledge:
An understanding of stakeholder engagement principles and approaches, particularly within complex or sensitive environments

Experience of delivering stakeholder engagement activity in a complex or multi-stakeholder environment
Experience of managing stakeholder relationships and handling enquiries and complaints
Experience of producing clear, structured written outputs for a range of audiences, such as briefings, reports or correspondence
Experience of analysing information or data to identify trends, issues or insights and inform decision-making or activity
Experience of working in a fast-paced environment, managing competing priorities and delivering to tight deadlines
Experience of supporting the delivery of work within defined processes, frameworks or governance structures
