Administrator
37.5 hours per week
Monday to Friday 9:00am – 5:00pm
Based at 23 Princes Street, Yeovil, Somerset, BA20 1EN
Salary - £23,809.50 - £26,227.50 per annum
Minimum of Level 3 NVQ in Business or Equivalent required, Level 4 desirable.
Experience of payroll, marketing and recruitment is beneficial.
We are looking for two experienced, enthusiastic, self-motivated individuals to be part of our amazing Administration team as Administrators at our busy Head Office. As an Administrator you will be responsible for helping keep the smooth running of daily operations at able2achieve.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the company’s online databases – QCS, Rota Cloud and SharePoint
- Coordinating training and maintaining training records for staff
- Be welcoming, friendly and give support to anybody accessing the administration department
- Demonstrate understanding of an adherence to safe working practices to promote own safety and safety of others
- To make sure that all that we do revolves around improving learner and staff experience
- To deal with all customer contact effectively, and courteously, in line with the authority’s policies and procedures
- Apply and actively promote the principles of the Organisation’s Equal Opportunities Policy in all areas of employment and service delivery
- To maintain confidentiality and to ensure working practises are secure
- Ensure that all staff are treated equally inline of the company’s policy and procedures
- Receive telephone calls and messages sensitively, ensuring effective communication and courtesy at all times
- Organise and manage the diary with other managers and administration staff ensuring that meetings and requests are communicated to the team
- Co-ordinate the requests for support on tasks such as liaising and communicating with administration staff and house locations, co-ordinate support timetabling, assisting with projects
- Manage correspondence by answering emails and sorting mail
- Create, order and distribute certificates for attendees of training as necessary
- Take initiative where necessary, prioritising the workload to ensure deadlines are met

For this post, you must be both literate and numerate. Experience of working with people with physical and learning disabilities is an advantage but not essential. Experience of working in an administrative environment is essential. Full training will be given in both these areas. You must have a caring and friendly nature, sense of humour, be approachable and non-judgemental and have an enthusiastic and positive approach.
