Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Assistant Bar Manager to support the daily operations of our bar. The successful candidate will assist in supervising staff, maintaining excellent customer service standards, managing inventory, and ensuring the bar operates efficiently and profitably.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Bar Manager in overseeing daily bar operations.
- Supervise and support bartenders and bar staff during shifts.
- Ensure excellent customer service and resolve customer concerns professionally.
- Help manage stock levels, inventory counts, and ordering of supplies.
- Maintain cleanliness, safety, and compliance with licensing and health regulations.
- Support staff training and development.
- Assist with scheduling and staff coordination.
- Monitor cash handling procedures and assist with end-of-day reconciliations.
- Help achieve sales targets and promote beverages and special offers.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a bar, hospitality, or supervisory role.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Good organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Knowledge of beverage service, stock control, and bar operations.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Responsible alcohol service certification (if required by local regulations).
