Senior Installation Engineer (SIE) allocated to project execution or tender/study, supervising or delivering installation engineering deliverables to the Subsea Projects organization. SIE shall report primarily to the VSO/Non-VSO Execution Lead or Lead Installation Engineer.
Deliver technical robust installation engineering deliverables and documentation for the Operations Package aligning with the Lead Installation Engineer/POM and PEM expectations.
Originate & check engineering deliverables are in compliance with project, industry and TechnipFMC Group standards, specifications and codes. Develops installation concepts, prepares procedures and other technical deliverables (either directly or by supervising installation engineer(s)).
Support installation engineering tendering and FEED activities for I&C deliverables from VSO and Non-VSO Execution streams. Includes ITT review, preparation of tender deliverables (method statements, materials lists, MDR, technical clarifications and qualifications), supplier interfacing and client meetings.
Promote TechnipFMC safety, quality and security culture across all tender and execution phases through adopting correct HSES & Q behaviors and leading by example.
Review/input to offshore campaign schedule(s) for the planned operations relevant to the allocated scope and identify appropriate vessel specifications/equipment. - Interprets and understands the main contract to manage installation engineering queries and interface requests.
Deliver engineering and operational (Constructability, HIRA, and Readiness) reviews for the agreed engineering methodologies proposed by installation team.
Provide technical guidance for installation aids and ancillary designs to support installation operations. - Support Package Engineers & GSP to identify and procure required installation equipment, review technical evaluation of bids for permanent and temporary installation equipment and aids.
Provide installation engineering on site supervision / technical expertise for manufacturing, fabrication, SIT, and/or shorebase work sites. - Coordinate project equipment, including all permanent and temporary equipment, relevant for their scope is suitably checked, packed and ready for transportation through the appointed project equipment tracking documentation (i.e. eMAT).
Work offshore ensuring work is executed in accordance with installation procedures. Represents project team on the vessel or appointed worksite preparing project documentation (project briefings, dive/task plans, MOC’s, Lift Plans, etc). Primary client interface offshore.
