Job Description
Yeoman Shield is a leading manufacturer and installer of wall and door protection products in the UK. We are looking for a Subcontractor Estimator to join our team and help us deliver high-quality projects to our clients.
As a Subcontractor Trainee Estimator/Estimating Administrator, you will be responsible for:
· Preparing and submitting accurate and competitive quotations for wall and door protection installations.
· Inputting, managing and updating the quotation database and the CRM system.
· Working closely with the sales team and the contracts department to ensure customer satisfaction and project profitability.
· Reviewing tender documents, drawings and specifications to understand the scope of work and the client's requirements.
· Providing tender assistance to all contractors/clients throughout the tender stage.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
· Previous experience as an estimator/administrator or a similar role in the construction industry.
· Excellent numerical and analytical skills.
· Strong communication skills.
· Attention to detail and accuracy.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Word & Excel.
· Microsoft Dynamics & Business Central experience is desirable
· Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
· Knowledge of wall and door protection products and installation methods would be advantageous.
· A full UK driving licence is desirable.
