We’re looking for an enthusiastic Senior CDP or Junior Sous Chef to join our award-winning team at The White House.
Our ideal chef will be a stickler for detail and take pride in every dish that leaves the kitchen. We expect our senior chefs to be able to work well both unsupervised and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment, with a positive attitude and eagerness to learn and innovate.
OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE...
- Taking deliveries and completing prep work, ensuring ingredients are fresh, organised and ready for service
- Working confidently across all sections of the kitchen
- Preparing and presenting dishes consistently to our high standards
- Participating in in-house and external training to ensure you and the team remain at the top of your game
- Supporting and developing junior chefs while helping maintain a positive, professional kitchen environment
- Assisting the senior team with the design and costing of new seasonal menus
- Supporting the Head and Sous Chefs with team development and the smooth day-to-day operation of the kitchen
- Taking responsibility for maintaining excellent standards of food safety, cleanliness and organisation
- Running the kitchen confidently in the absence of the senior team
