We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Team Leader – Employment Support to spearhead our employment programs and foster meaningful relationships with clients, employers, and community partners. In this role, you will lead a dedicated team to deliver exceptional employment services, manage program operations, and ensure the successful placement and ongoing support of individuals seeking employment. Duties
- Lead and supervise a team of employment support specialists, providing guidance, coaching, and performance feedback to ensure high-quality service delivery
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with employers, community organizations, and stakeholders to expand employment opportunities for clients
- Oversee program management activities, including planning, reporting, and compliance with funding requirements
- Coordinate intake assessments, develop individualized employment plans, and monitor progress to meet client goals
- Manage administrative tasks such as maintaining accurate records, preparing reports, and ensuring documentation compliance
- Facilitate training sessions for staff on best practices in employment support and relationship management
- Support clients through job search activities, interview preparation, and post-employment follow-up to promote sustained employment
Experience
- Proven experience in managing or supervising teams within employment services or related programs
- Strong relationship management skills with the ability to engage effectively with employers, clients, and community partners
- Demonstrated administrative experience including record keeping, reporting, and program coordination
- Previous experience in program management or overseeing project operations in a employment setting is highly desirable
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate team members and build rapport with diverse stakeholders
- Familiarity with employment legislation, SEQF Fidelity models, funding requirements, and best practices in employment support services
