Newcastle & Surrounding Areas | Immediate Start
✅ ROLE OVERVIEW
Deliver light parcels only (rarely over 10kg — never exceeding 20kg) across Newcastle and surrounding postcode areas using a company-provided electric van. No heavy lifting. You’ll get your own fixed, permanent route so you learn the area quickly and work efficiently over time.
ESSENTIAL CRITERIA BEFORE APPLYING
- ✅ Private driveway required for overnight van parking (no street parking — non-negotiable)
- ✅ Ability to have home EV charger installed at your property
- ✅ Confident driver — comfortable with small electric vans (up to 2.5t; manual & automatic)
- IF you do not have your own driveway, there might still be a chance to deliver using your own car - drop me a message if that's the case. Different pay rates apply.

✅ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS
- ✅ Clean driving licence — no points, no disqualifications
- ✅ Clean DBS check
- ✅ UK Citizenship or Indefinite Leave to Remain (no work visas); fluent English required
- ✅ Self-employed / UTR number — we help you set this up & provide an accountant
- ✅ Modern smartphone + unlimited data / reliable internet
- ✅ Minimum 9-month commitment
- ✅ Delivery experience preferred but not essential — pay reflects experience
- ✅ Comfort working in all weather conditions
WORK SCHEDULE
- 5 days/week: Tuesday–Saturday (Sun & Mon off)
- Winter peak period (from Black Friday week to early Jan): 6 days/week
- Start: 08:00–08:30 at Newcastle depot
- Shifts: you'll start on a very low volume and will build yourself up. In the beginning, you'll be working 6-7hrs a day. Eventually, 10-11 once fully trained (of course, you'll be paid a much higher rate when that happens). Our most competent and experienced drivers can make 150 stops a day in fewer than 8 hours. It's all up to you.
- Approx. 125 daily stops after training — lighter workload during first weeks
- 1-week training period — public charging provided during trial; home charger installed post-probation
- Telephonic interview (20–30 mins) before selection
- Return to depot daily with undelivered parcels, complete your shift, get back home.
