Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and organised Part-Time Cleaner to join our team in Huddersfield. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards , ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for clients and staff alike.
This role offers flexible hours suitable for those seeking part-time employment. (Total Hours 12.5 a week)
Duties
- Perform cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and disinfecting surfaces
- Maintain cleanliness of restrooms, kitchens, and common areas
- Ensure all cleaning equipment and supplies are used safely and stored properly
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly
- Follow health and safety guidelines to ensure a secure working environment
- Assist with organising cleaning schedules and prioritising tasks effectively
- Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate cleaning activities
Skills
- Previous experience in cleaning or housekeeping is advantageous but not essential as training will be provided
- Good communication skills in English, both written and verbal
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage time efficiently
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional attitude
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
- Basic understanding of health and safety procedures related to cleaning activities
