Job Overview
We are seeking a diligent and reliable Cleaner to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across various commercial premises. Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of designated areas, including offices, washrooms, corridors, and communal spaces
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust surfaces to ensure cleanliness and presentation standards are met
- Restock supplies such as toilet paper, hand towels, and cleaning products as required
- Dispose of waste responsibly and ensure bins are emptied regularly
- Use appropriate cleaning equipment and chemicals safely in accordance with health and safety guidelines
- Report any maintenance issues or hazards to management promptly
- Maintain a organised approach to daily tasks to ensure efficiency and effectiveness
Experience
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial services is advantageous but not mandatory; training will be provided for suitable candidates
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and equipment is beneficial
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Reliable with good organisational skills and the ability to manage time effectively
