Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and attentive Food and Beverage Assistant to join our team. Responsibilities
- Taking food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently
- Serving food and drinks in a courteous and professional manner
- Assisting with food preparation and presentation as required
- Ensuring the cleanliness and organisation of the service area
- Maintaining high standards of food safety and hygiene at all times
- Supporting the team during busy periods to deliver seamless service
- Providing information about menu items and making recommendations to guests
- Handling cash transactions and processing payments accurately
- Restocking supplies and ensuring the workspace remains tidy throughout shifts
Skills
- Previous experience in catering, serving, or hospitality environments is preferred
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices
- Barista experience is a plus, demonstrating familiarity with coffee preparation
- Strong communication skills with a friendly, professional manner
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure during busy periods
- Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work well within a team and independently when required
- Flexibility to adapt to different tasks and shifts as needed
