As our business continues to grow, we are looking for a Production Operative to join our finishing team, helping to ensure every building leaves our workshop to the highest possible standard.
The Role
This is a hands-on role within our production workshop, predominantly factory based, focused on preparing, painting and finishing timber and composite components.
You will be responsible for ensuring all products are finished to a consistently high standard, ready for installation and delivery to customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparing products for finishing and treatment
- Spray painting and roller applying protective paint finishes, and protective coatings
- Sanding, filling and carrying out final preparation work
- Quality checking finished products and identifying any defects
- Maintaining spray equipment and workshop tools
- Assisting with general production duties when required
- Keeping work areas clean, organised and safe
- Working closely with colleagues to meet production schedules and deadlines

- Experience in spray painting, finishing, joinery, manufacturing or timber products
