We are looking for an experienced sous chef to join our kitchen team at The Mill House, Birtley. This role offers an opportunity to work closely to the head chef to support all aspects of kitchen operations, ensuring high standards of food quality and customer satisfaction.
The Sous Chef will play a role in assisting the head chef to grow the business with menu ideas and ensure every dish reflects our commitment to great food done properly.
Experience and Skills required:
-Supporting the head chef in day to day kitchen operations, with the ability to step up and lead the kitchen when required
-Upholding a positive work environment that promotes teamwork, professionalism and continuous improvement
-High level of hygiene (certificates an added bonus)
-Working well within a team, own initiative and under pressure
