Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and versatile Multi Trade Operative to join our team and contribute to a wide range of maintenance, repair, and installation projects. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for maintaining and improving facilities, ensuring safety standards are met, and supporting various technical tasks with enthusiasm and expertise.
Duties
- Perform maintenance, repairs, and installations across multiple trades including electrical, mechanical, welding, and plumbing.
- Read and interpret schematics, technical drawings, and wiring diagrams to accurately complete tasks.
- Operate programmable logic controllers (PLCs) to troubleshoot and optimize automated systems.
- Conduct routine inspections of equipment and infrastructure to identify issues early and implement effective solutions.
- Supervise junior team members or apprentices on site, providing guidance and ensuring safety protocols are followed.
- Maintain detailed records of work performed, including maintenance logs, repair reports, and compliance documentation.
- Deliver excellent customer service by communicating clearly with clients and stakeholders about project progress or technical issues.
Experience
- Proven experience in multiple trades such as Carpentry, Plastering, Painting / Decorating etc
- Demonstrated ability to read technical drawings and schematics accurately.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
- Experience in customer service roles or client-facing positions that require clear communication and problem-solving skills.

Pay: £31,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
