From our multi-award-winning, 30,000-square-foot showroom in North West London, we deliver everything from individual furniture purchases to complete whole-house interiors.
We specialise in systems furniture, including wardrobes, wall units, television units and fitted storage, alongside luxury leather seating, dining furniture and complete interior schemes.

Your Role
The Assistant Sales Manager position combines personal selling, team support and commercial leadership.
You will be expected to achieve your own sales targets while helping the Sales Manager and General Manager improve the performance of the wider team.
This is not a desk-based management role.
You will remain actively involved in selling, meeting clients, developing projects, closing business and supporting other members of the team.
Personal Sales and Client Management
Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing showroom, telephone, online and referred sales enquiries
- Understanding each client’s lifestyle, property, budget and design requirements
- Presenting suitable furniture, finishes and interior solutions
- Managing individual furniture sales and complete whole-house projects
- Preparing quotations, proposals and product presentations
- Following up consistently and professionally with prospective clients
- Negotiating and closing sales while protecting margins
- Building long-term relationships that generate referrals and repeat business
- Maintaining accurate client, project and pipeline information
- Achieving agreed personal sales and gross-profit targets
- Developing your own client portfolio
- Working with international clients across the UK, Africa, the Middle East and other markets
- Providing an exceptional client experience from the first enquiry through to delivery and installation
Supporting and Developing the Sales Team
You will also:
- Assist the Sales Manager with the daily management of the showroom sales team
- Help team members progress enquiries and close opportunities
- Review sales pipelines, quotations and follow-up activity
- Support newer team members with product knowledge and sales techniques
- Share successful approaches and help create a collaborative sales culture
- Maintain high standards of presentation, communication and client service
- Help ensure leads are followed up promptly and professionally
- Support sales meetings, training sessions and performance reviews
- Assist with monitoring individual and team performance
- Help identify opportunities to improve conversion rates and profitability
- Step in to support the Sales Manager and General Manager when required
- Act as a positive and energetic presence within the showroom
Project and Commercial Coordination
You will work closely with designers, suppliers, logistics teams, installers and other departments.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Ensuring orders and project details are recorded accurately
- Checking specifications, measurements, finishes and order information
- Identifying potential issues before they affect the client
- Monitoring project progress and maintaining client communication
- Understanding lead times, specifications, costs, margins and delivery requirements
- Supporting the resolution of client or project concerns
- Helping improve internal processes, systems and customer experience
- Coordinating effectively with suppliers and internal teams
- Ensuring that promises made to clients are realistic and properly documented
- Taking ownership of problems and helping drive them towards a solution
What We Need from YouEssential Experience
You must have:
- A minimum of three and a half to four years of successful sales experience within furniture, interiors, kitchens, fitted furniture, luxury retail or a closely related sector
- A proven record of achieving or exceeding personal sales targets
- Experience managing high-value, consultative or project-based sales
- Confidence working with discerning clients and complex requirements
- Strong follow-up, negotiation and closing skills
- The ability to manage several clients and projects simultaneously
- Excellent spoken and written English
- Strong attention to detail
- Good numerical and commercial awareness
- Confidence using CRM systems, software and digital communication tools
- An interest in technology, software and artificial intelligence
- The willingness and availability to work weekends, as these are our busiest and most commercially important days
Furniture or interiors experience is essential.
Applicants should understand that selling luxury furniture requires patience, persistence, technical accuracy, excellent follow-up and the ability to manage longer sales cycles.
