Administrative Role
- Dealing with Small works and installation enquiries
- Creating the costing and the quotations.
- Creating a Quote Log
- Familiarise with the company operating system
- Liase with the Admin team
- Assisting in the Company Accreditations
Project Management Role
- Managing fire alarm installation projects from award through to completion.
- Developing project programmes and installation schedules.
- Allocating labour, materials, and resources.
- Monitoring project progress against deadlines and budgets.
- Identifying and mitigating project risks.
- Acting as the main point of contact for clients, consultants, and contractors.
- Providing regular project updates and reports.
- Managing client expectations and resolving issues.
- Reviewing fire alarm designs, specifications, and drawings.
- Ensuring installations comply with BS 5839, building regulations, and project specifications.
- Overseeing commissioning and testing activities.
- Ensuring all cause-and-effect requirements are achieved
Site Management Role
- Coordinating engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers.
- Organising site access and resident liaison where required.
- Monitoring installation quality and workmanship.
- Conducting site inspections and audits.
- Managing defects and remedial works.
- Preparing and reviewing Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS).
- Maintaining project records and documentation.
- Ensuring certification is completed correctly.
- Managing O&M manuals and handover documents.
- Ensuring all compliance documentation is completed before handover.
- Organising end-user training.
- Conducting final project handovers.
- Ensuring clients understand system operation and maintenance requirements.
Skills and qualifications.
Supervisory experience – preferred but not essential, industry and product knowledge, demonstrate team leadership skills, self-motivated, experience in training team members preferred, interpersonal skills, computer skills, industry technical knowledge, strong written and verbal communication skills, customer service skills, attention to deadlines, detail orientated, goal orientated, high-level problem-solving skills and time served experience is essential.
Pay: £38,000.00-£42,000.00 per year
Work Location: Hybrid remote in Pontefract
