To deliver high-quality teaching, assessment and academic support for the MBA/BA Top up modules, ensuring an engaging student learning experience and compliance with the College's academic quality standards.
The Programme Lead will oversee curriculum delivery, maintain academic standards, support student success, and ensure the programme remains aligned with current developments in Business Administration related sector.
The role will also contribute to programme development, quality assurance, partnership engagement, and the continuous enhancement of teaching and learning across the programme.
Key Responsibilities
Teaching and Learning
· Deliver lectures, seminars, workshops and tutorials in accordance with approved module specifications.
· Prepare lesson plans, teaching materials and learning resources.
· Deliver teaching using appropriate face-to-face and/or online learning platforms.
· Assess coursework, presentations and examinations and provide constructive feedback within agreed deadlines.
· Maintain accurate attendance records and monitor student engagement.
· Provide academic guidance and pastoral support to students where appropriate.
· Participate in moderation, standardisation, examination boards and other quality assurance activities.
· Attend programme meetings, staff development sessions and academic briefings as required.
· Ensure compliance with College regulations, awarding body requirements, quality assurance processes, safeguarding, GDPR and Health & Safety policies.
-Contribute to the continuous enhancement of teaching, learning and assessment.

Essential Skills and Experience
· Previous teaching experience within Higher Education.
· Experience delivering undergraduate and/or postgraduate business programmes.
· Experience designing and delivering engaging learning activities.
· Experience assessing coursework and providing academic feedback.
· Excellent communication and presentation skills.
· Ability to use Microsoft Teams and Virtual Learning Environments.

Summary
This role supports the successful delivery and continuous enhancement of the College's MBA and BA (Hons) Top-Up programmes through high-quality teaching, student support and academic engagement. The Associate Lecturer will be responsible for delivering engaging learning experiences, assessing student work, providing timely and constructive feedback, and supporting students throughout their academic journey. Working within the College's academic and partnership framework, the post holder will contribute to the effective delivery of the curriculum while ensuring that teaching, learning and assessment practices comply with College policies, awarding body requirements and sector standards. The role also involves contributing to the ongoing enhancement of programme quality, curriculum development and student success.
Pay: £25.00-£40.00 per hour
