Accommodation Links Ltd is a property management company based in Stockport with a large portfolio of residential properties. In order to ensure we are able to provide a premium timely service to our tenants we wish to recruit an in-house Handyman to enable us to quickly resolve issues as they arise.
*Key Responsibilities*
- Carrying out scheduled works to the appropriate time frames
- Basic maintenance work
- Joinery work on residential properties
- Making the manager and coordinator aware of any issues that may arise on the job or within the properties
- Collecting keys and commuting to different properties
- Working with the wider team and other maintenance operatives on jobs
- Ad hoc work that may arise
Experience in plumbing, joinery, painting and general property maintenance is necessary for this role.
Skills Knowledge and Expertise
The ideal candidate will have the following:
- Strong level of maintenance experience
- Ability to work alone and in a team
- Highly organised and able to work to timeframes
- High levels of integrity and reliability
- Ideally worked within a maintenance division for an estate agency or large company
- Full UK Driving Licence (essential)
- Access to a company Van
The ideal candidate would be someone who enjoys varied role, reliable, hard-working and friendly.
Some of the types of jobs we attend to:
Track and trace leaks, tiling, bathroom refurbishments, kitchen refurbishments, remedial repairs after a leak, repair or replace locks, hang doors, guttering, install double glazed units, painting and decorating, plastering, plumbing, minor electrics & handyman jobs.
The above is a small description of the different type of work we receive on a day-to-day basis. We are looking for someone who is very experienced to work either on their own or as part of a team.
Working hours are Monday to Friday, from 9:00 am to 5:30 pm, with occasional overtime as and when required. This is a 12 month contract with the possibility of an extension.
