Job Overview
TRA Pallets are pleased to be able to offer the opportunity for a qualified class 1 HGV driver to join our night team. This is a full time position working 5 nights a week (Mon-Fri) running a double deck trunk trailer from our depot in Paddock Wood to Lichfield. Current Driver CPC and Digi Card are Essential.
Requirements
- Valid Class 1 (C+E) driving licence with a clean driving record.
- Proven experience in commercial driving, particularly with double deck trailers.
- Prior experience as a delivery driver is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of road safety regulations and best practices for large vehicle operation.
- Ability to work overnight shifts, demonstrating flexibility and reliability.
- Good organisational skills with attention to detail in documentation and vehicle checks.
- Physical fitness to handle loading/unloading tasks when necessary.
This role is ideal for experienced drivers seeking a night-time position that values safety, professionalism, and efficiency within the logistics sector.
Pay: £170.00-£180.00 per day
