Our Contentious Litigation department is benefiting from a growth in new instructions and we are looking for Fee Earner's to join the Personal Injury or Personal Injury/Vehicle Damage department.
This role is 37.5 hours per week, working in our Byker office Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5.00pm.

Job Description:
- Work collectively with the supervising solicitor to ensure client's obtain the appropriate level of compensation for all their personal injury and/or vehicle damage related losses, in accordance with regulations and legislation;
- Deliver a level of Client Care in accordance with SRA regulations;
- Always follow the Department procedures and processes along with Company policies;
- Possess knowledge of personal injury law and procedure as well as understanding of Credit Hire and Vehicle Damage losses recovery together with the ability to assist in the conduct of cases, with appropriate supervision;
- Accurate recording of evidence and or data received from clients and other parties within Proclaim;
- Assisting by the accurate drafting of legal documents;
Key requirements:
- 1 year + paralegal or equivalent experience.
- Ability to assist with a caseload of mainly road traffic accident cases with appropriate supervision.
- Knowledge of RTA liability, together with factual causation issues. General understanding of Legal concepts, familiarity with pre action protocols, Part 7 and Part 8 Procedural Rules and Practice Directions regarding Credit Hire and Vehicle Damage losses recovery is helpful but not essential.
- Ability to time manage and prioritise court deadlines
- Ability in communicating with clients professionally through email, written correspondence, and telephone conversations
- Experience of demonstrating effective teamworking
- Demonstrate effective communication and good interpersonal skills
- IT literate
- Commitment to own personal development
